Flexible Learning

The Flexible Learning Program at NTHS aims to deliver a variety of alternative learning options to maximise retention, participation and progress for identified students. All programs are based on three core focus areas for student engagement – cognitive, behavioural and emotional engagement. Key subject areas identified with input from students are strength and conditioning, automotive, art, marine safety and aquatic environments, healthy minds and nutrition. The aim is to deliver practical based sessions, whilst maintaining a literacy / numeracy focus and to enable students to be respectful and contributing citizens within the school and the community.
